Industry magazine GREEN reports on indoor air conditioning at Senoplast

In the latest coverage of ecological innovations in Austria, a joint project between Senoplast and INFRANORM® takes part plays a central role. How that GREEN industrial magazine (issue 10/2025) reported, a solution was implemented at the Senoplast site in Piesendorf that shows how industrial production and consistent climate protection are successfully merging.
As experts in energy and ventilation technology, we are delighted that our technology has been recognized. The project proves that sustainable indoor air conditioning today goes far beyond pure cooling and makes a measurable contribution to profitability.

The project in detail
Our system is at the center of the article Sustainable hall conditioning. In contrast to conventional air conditioning systems, which often require climate-damaging refrigerants and high amounts of energy, our solution includes Senoplast on the natural power of adiabatic cooling.
The measurable successes at Senoplast at a glance:
- Significant emission reduction: Around 85 tons of CO are produced annually2 saved.
- Massive energy efficiency: The system requires up to 80 % less electricity than conventional systems.
- Holistic approach: The functions of ventilation, heating, filtering, heat recovery and cooling are combined in a single system.
Why this approach is revolutionizing industry
The SHC system works in two stages and uses the evaporative cooling of water and air highly efficiently. As a result of indirect adiabatic cooling, the outside air is pre-cooled via heat exchangers without introducing additional moisture into the hall. This ensures optimal working conditions even on extremely hot days, while continuously increasing resource efficiency.
For INFRANORM® Is this showcase project a confirmation of our holistic INFRANOMIC® Approach: We create infrastructure solutions that not only comply with legal limits, but also actively strengthen the competitiveness of our customers.
About the industrial magazine GREEN
that GREEN industrial magazine is a specialized special publication from the industrial magazine, the leading trade publication for Austrian industry. As a focus format, it provides in-depth and practical information on how local industrial companies are shaping the path to a climate-neutral future.
From reducing emissions to sustainable production processes, the special publication offers valuable insights and examples of best practice for companies that are at the cutting edge of green transformation. In doing so, the industrial magazine is creating an important platform for ecological innovations and showing how economic efficiency and climate protection go hand in hand.
Further information on the publication and current technical contributions can be found directly on the online portal of industrial media.
We would like to thank Industriemagazin for their well-founded report and the opportunity to present this groundbreaking project to a broad public.
