Energy-efficient and low-maintenance — the new filter system at Schaufler

Schaufler GmbH in Ybbs an der Donau has been leading the trade and recycling of metals throughout Austria for decades. This is primarily due to the quality of the processes, which include the collection, sorting, processing and batching of steel and metal scrap.

In 2020, a new composite processing plant was built, which should therefore also have air pollution control, which is specifically tailored to the requirements of scrap processing and the resulting amounts of dust.

To protect the hall, the employees and the aggregates located in it, a tailor-made filter system was delivered, which records the resulting amounts of dust directly at the main issuer and various process-dependent transfer points via special collection devices, without hindering the scrap shredding process itself.
