Sustainable cooling for metal processing at Metallbau GÖTZL
The new production hall at Metallbau GÖTZL focused on a sustainable and energy-efficient cooling concept right from the start. The company wanted to create a pleasant working environment without the use of classic compression chillers and to design the hall in such a way that the cooling technology was ideally integrated into the building conditions.

Project details
The tailor-made Hall cooling combines a two-stage adiabatic cooler with a textile supply hose system, which distributes the conditioned air evenly and without drafts in the approximately 4,000 m² production hall. Particular attention was paid to integrating the system, taking into account the height of the hall crane. The plant technology has been positioned in such a way that crane movements remain unrestricted and the usable area is fully preserved.
The result: A significantly improved hall climate for employees, stable conditions for precise metal processing and massively increased energy efficiency, which is reflected in significantly reduced operating costs.
“For us at Metallbau GÖTZL, it was of paramount importance to find a sustainable solution that does not require the use of conventional refrigerants. Working with INFRANORM® has enabled us to do just that. ”

synopsis
The project at Metallbau GÖTZL is clear proof of how modern Hall conditioning can be efficiently integrated into new production buildings. INFRANORM® has answered the challenge — high-performance, refrigerant-free cooling with full crane use — with a pioneering solution.
As an expert in industrial hall conditioning, INFRANORM® implements such systems across Europe. Our service included the planning and installation of a two-stage adiabatic cooling solution including textile air distribution.
The profit for GÖTZL metal construction:
- Highly efficient cooling: Noticeably lower temperatures in production.
- CO₂ reduction: Significantly lower emissions due to the absence of classic compression refrigeration.
- Perfect integration: No restrictions on hall use despite extensive plant technology.
In short: We offer not just a cooling system, but a sustainable system solution that combines energy efficiency and production convenience.
