Efficient hall cooling for glass production at Ardagh Glass
Ardagh Glass GmbH relies on sustainable hall conditioning from INFRANORM® at its plant in Neuenhagen to specifically reduce the high hall temperatures in glass production. The aim of the measure was to create a more pleasant working environment for employees and ensure stable environmental conditions in the production hall – while at the same time ensuring energy-efficient operation of the hall cooling system.

Project details
The combined cooling solution from two-stage adiabatic cooling, targeted fresh air supply and textile air distribution ensure uniform, draft-free temperature control of the production hall. An additional exhaust fan efficiently removes the heated air from the upper area of the hall and thus increases the overall efficiency of the system. As a result, the indoor climate remains stable even at high outdoor temperatures and the thermal load on employees and machines is significantly reduced.
The result: Noticeably better working conditions for employees, reduced equipment wear and significantly reduced energy consumption — an important step towards safe, efficient and sustainable glass production.
“By using the innovative year-round cooling system from INFRANORM®, we were able to significantly optimize working conditions in our production hall. This measure is not only a benefit for the well-being of our employees, but also a future-oriented investment in the sustainable development of our company. ”
